One Finished Object
14 September 2006
Garterlac "dish" cloth, but in this case it'll be a "wash" cloth.
Yarn: Sugar 'n Cream cotton colour #02235 Country Side Ombre
Needles: 4.5mm Clover bamboo needles (yeah, I used DPNs, so sue me LOL)
Pattern: Garterlac dishcloth from Dave aka Criminy Jickets
Thoughts: This was great fun to make. I've always been intrigued by entrelac but had always figured it was very complicated to knit. I'd seen Dave's garterlac pattern knitted up on several blogs, so when the cotton arrived in my box from Jaymi, I knew exactly what I wanted to knit first.

OK. I've been waiting to knit one of these until I caught up with the Monthly cloths, but I may just have to jump in sooner.

I wondered what you were going to knit first with that Sugar and Cream yarn....LOL What a super great dishcloth! I have those colors in my s&c stash and just might have to try knitting one myself!
