Frustration personified!!!!
Sorry it's blurry, but it's the clearest picture I can get with my damned camera! (Incidentally the yarn is actually blue and red, not blue and pink as it appears here.)
Now, I know it doesn't look like much, but this small patch of knitting represents HOURS of frustrating attempted pattern deciphering, pattern following, frogging, tinking, trying alternative patterns, crocheting and some actual knitting!
Current status? The damned thing needs frogging (AGAIN!!!!) because there are two holes in the knitting from where I M1, in the first round of increases. *sigh*
I need my head examined for wanting to knit ToeUp socks!!!!

WIP ~ Slipper Socks
I like to wear bare feet or socks at home, so I'm making these to wear around the house in cooler weather.
The pattern is called
Yo Mama's Big Fat Booties. I'm using 2 strands of 8ply wool crepe and 4.5mm DPNs.
Here's the first one (notice the beautiful grafting) so now I just have to knit #2!

Donna who gave me the link to the
Kitchener Stitch/Grafting video. I found that MUCH easier to understand than the written directions I'd been following.

WIP ~ Socks #1
My first pair of socks! The first is finished and the second is about three quarters done, needing a few more inches for the foot, then the toe, and then the grafting.

WIP ~ The Rug
I’m knitting squares for a rug.
It’s inspired by the rug and cushion pattern (in a cream/natural wool) in
Cleckheaton’s Celebration Days #615. I have used some of their patterns and I have made up some others, so I sort of have a “sampler” rug. I’m using Cleckheation Country 8 ply Heathers colour #1923, which is a lovely green colour. Sadly, I know I’m not going to have enough wool to finish it, so it’s on the backburner. If anyone has some spare wool, please let me know!
