Thank you Kathleen!
Kathleen Taylor's blog is one I read regularly. She's an
author, spinner, designer and very speedy knitter and I love to see what she's knitting. Recently I entered a competition on her blog and was lucky enough to win a copy of...
Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders: 101 Small Indulgences edited by Judith Durant, which contains one of Kathleen's designs!
This book is GORGEOUS!!! The projects all use one-skein of beautiful, luxury yarn (like cashmere & quivit). It's well presented and so pretty to look at. It's definitely inspiring!
Many thanks Kathleen. It's found a home on my "keepers shelf" and I'm looking forward to knitting several of the projects.

FO ~ Cloth
Earlier in the year I took part in a Cloth & Soap swap and for my pal I knitted...
Pattern:
Peas and Carrots Scrubber Cloth (
Ravelry link) by Maile Mauch
Yarn: Anchor Magicline
Needles: 4.5mm
Thoughts: It was a fun to knit such a bright cotton and I really like this pattern and will knit it again. If you follow the pattern link/s you'll see that I've omitted the peas and carrots mentioned in the pattern's title and added a hanging loop.

FO ~ Socks #8/2008
Pattern: My own.
Yarn:
Regia Color 6-fädig / 6-ply (
Ravelry link)
Needles: 3.0mm & 2.75mm DPNs.
Thoughts: I love these, they're so colourful, toasty and warm. One ball had about 4” left when it was time to kitchener the toes, the other about 5’, so I was able to get a pair out of just the 2 balls.
