Happy Socktober!
The sock knitter in me was very happy to realise that Socktober is celebrated in lots of ways, including Socktoberfest 2006.
To celebrate, Socks-For-Mum and I are cohosting...
As the name implies, it's a Knit-A-Long for those who'd like to try knitting their first pair of Toe-Up Socks.

I've been following your blog since our mag swap and have been always amazed with the beautifull socks you make.
This sounds like a very fun project and I really wanted to give it a try...
I checked the tutorial at the new blog and will see if I can find the right needles (since I have never seen them before). If I find the material and understand the pattern I might give it a try. I'll let you know if I'm ready to participate, ok?
